Guiyang presents 'cool' charm at Boao Global Tourism Ecology Conference

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, participated as the guest city at the first Boao Global Tourism Ecology Conference, held at the Boao Forum for Asia International Conference Center on Aug 2.

During the event, the city promoted its culture and tourism offerings and invited visitors from around the globe to attend the "2025 Cool Guiyang Summer Retreat Festival", which launched on July 31 and will run for one month.

China's 240-hour visa-free transit policy is also driving growth in Guiyang's inbound tourism, making the city more accessible to international visitors.
