2025 Cool Guiyang Summer Retreat Festival kicks off

The 2025 Cool Guiyang Summer Retreat Festival was launched online on July 31, marking the start of a month-long celebration.

The livestream of the launch ceremony, set at a street corner in the Taiping Road, offered global viewers a 40-minute virtual city tour through some of Guiyang's most popular spots – Roadside Concerts, corner cafés, and craft beer bars that have captured nationwide attention.

Through this online experience, viewers were able to enjoy not only Guiyang's natural scenery and cultural heritage but also its vibrant, youthful atmosphere and creative urban lifestyle.

This year's festival introduces 10 themed travel experiences, including summer retreats, karst adventures, and museum-based study tours, offering visitors a fresh and distinctive way to escape the heat.
