A delegation from the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism attended the 20th Strait Travel Fair and the 10th China (Xiamen) International Leisure Tourism Expo from May 16 to 18, promoting Guiyang's rich tourism offerings and new international travel policies to a global audience.

Guiyang's exhibition area, themed "Cool Guiyang – Summer Resort City", featured tastings, tour package promotions, and interactive displays. The booth highlighted the city's natural beauty, ethnic culture, and red tourism resources. Popular attractions such as Qingyan Ancient Town and Tianhetan scenic area, along with signature events like the Guiyang International Marathon and Roadside Concerts, drew significant interest from travel agents and visitors.
Guiyang also participated in the launch of the "240-Hour Visa-Free Transit Joint Tourism Cooperation for Foreign Nationals" initiative. Collaborating with cities including Xiamen, Shenzhen, and Shenyang, Guiyang is working to develop multi-destination international travel routes, making cross-city tourism more accessible for foreign travelers.
The expo attracted nearly 1,000 cultural and tourism enterprises from over 20 provinces and cities. Guiyang utilized this platform to explore partnerships with other regions, with a focus on resource sharing and visitor exchange.
