Longjing village in Qingyan town, Huaxi district, hosted a series of events celebrating Bouyei culture on May 18, welcoming visitors from across China. At the village entrance, guests were greeted with rice wine as Bouyei women sang and danced.

Visitors immersed themselves in rich local traditions by joining in lively bamboo pole dances and tasting fragrant rice wine brewed from ancient well water. As a typical Bouyei village, Longjing boasts unique natural and cultural resources and recently launched the "one Longjing village, one hundred Bouyei workshops" initiative to boost cultural tourism and development.

In the evening, the village troupe performed bench dances, a Bouyei-inspired fashion show, and bamboo drum dances, earning enthusiastic applause. At a bonfire party, visitors and performers danced hand in hand, creating a vibrant, festive atmosphere.
The event, part of China Tourism Day celebrations on May 19, highlighted Bouyei culture's appeal and injected new energy into Longjing's rural tourism.
