Huaxi unveils a 'music festival without walls'

The "Cool Guiyang · Beautiful Huaxi · Xishan Chunxing" launch ceremony and the Guiyang Roadside Concert · "Follow the Songs through Guizhou" kicked off at Huaxi Park's music plaza in Guiyang on March 29.

Three exclusive spring travel routes were introduced at the event: 

• Scenic culture tour – Experience the "cherry blossom rain" at Huaxi Park, admire rapeseed fields along Shili Hetan Tourist Resort, and embark on a cultural journey at the Confucius Academy. 

• Adventure and history tour – Wander through the vast purple flower fields of Shimen county, try waterfall rappelling, and relive the Long March at a historic red culture site. 

• Gastronomic delights – Savor the iconic Huaxi beef noodles in Qingyan Ancient Town, paired with a specialty coffee for a true taste of Huaxi. 

The "Xishan Chunxing" series runs through spring and summer: 

• March – "Awakening Plan": Bamboo pole dancing and a pet sports festival. 

• April – "Inspired Growth": Ancient town role-playing games and countryside poetry exhibitions. 

• May – "Dynamic Times": 5G Future Living Festival and motorsports races. 

• June – "Family Co-Creation": Eco-learning tours and graduation grassland concerts. 

Mu Weiping, dean of Guizhou University's Music Academy, launched the 2025 "Follow the Songs Through Guizhou" tour, featuring performances by German artists and local musicians, and showcasing Huaxi's youthful energy and artistic diversity. 

Huaxi will continue to integrate culture, technology, and immersive experiences to develop the "Cool Guiyang · Beautiful Huaxi" brand. From now until June, more than 400 events will bring Huaxi to life.
