Blossoms boost Huaxi tourism

Huaxi district, an essential tourist destination in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has entered its best flower viewing season. Flowers bloom like colorful oil paintings in the district's scenic spots, attracting tourists from all over the country to feel Huaxi's unique charm.

In recent years, the district has focused on customer resources and services and continuously promoted the iteration and upgrading of comprehensive tourism, paving a new path of high-quality development of cultural tourism integration and allowing tourists to experience the beauty of Huaxi all year round.

In 2024, Huaxi district received 30.88 million tourists, with a growth rate of over 200 percent for inbound tourists. The district renovated 50 summer vacation farmhouses and launched 6,400 travel rooms and 8,800 beds.

Huaxi has been selected as one of China's top 100 comprehensive tourism districts for five consecutive years, and has been among the top 20 for two straight years.

Huaxi will continue to optimize services and improve tourists' experience, promoting the high-quality development of cultural and tourism integration.
