The Guiyang Roadside Concert (Huaxi) Lusheng Special Concert was held on Nov 1 in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, offering an ethnic audio-visual feast for residents. The lusheng is a traditional instrument of the Miao ethnic culture.

The concert attracted faculty and students from Guizhou University's Academy of Music, Guizhou Minzu University's School of Music and Dance, and Guizhou University of Finance and Economics' School of Arts. Lusheng enthusiasts from the province also gathered to present the audience with a unique musical experience.

The ensemble performed classic pieces such as Huanle de miaojia, Tiaopo, and Xiangyin lian'ge. These performances seamlessly blended melodious tunes with ethnic charm, transporting the audience to Guizhou's scenic landscapes and immersing them in the unique appeal of local culture. The performers' expressive emotion and skilled technique earned rounds of enthusiastic applause.

The performers stepped down from the stage as the concert drew to a close amid cheers and enthusiastic applause. The audience spontaneously joined hands with them, forming circle after circle in a united ring. Hand in hand, they sang and danced, allowing everyone present to experience the vibrant charm of Guizhou's diverse ethnic cultures.
