Huaxi beef rice noodles wins product innovation award

Huaxi beef rice noodles, a specialty food from Guiyang's Huaxi district, received the national "Product Innovation Award" at the 2024 National Technological Exchange Conference on Inheritance and Innovation of Specialty Foods, which was held on Oct 24 in Kunming, Yunnan province.

The conference aimed to accelerate the development of traditional specialty food regions and local specialty food industries. It also sought to promote collaboration among government, industry, academia, and research institutions to enhance local specialty products' development and innovation capabilities.

The national "Product Innovation Award" strongly recognizes and encourages companies, research institutions, and universities that advance research and innovation in regional specialty foods across the country.

Huaxi Beef Rice Noodles Industrial Development and Operation Co and the Guizhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences were invited to participate in the conference and received the award. This recognition is a significant achievement resulting from their collaborative research project on the "Key Technologies for Standardized Processing of Huaxi Beef Rice Noodles and Demonstrative Projects". 

They have established two group standards and one corporate food safety standard for Huaxi beef rice noodles, achieving breakthroughs in freshness preservation and storage technology for rice noodles. This integration of enterprise and research institutions, driven by technological innovation, empowers the growth of the beef rice noodles industry.
