Huaxi sees double growth in Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday tourism

During the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from Sept 15 to 17, Huaxi district in Guiyang city welcomed a total of 500,595 tourist visits, ranking first in Guiyang.

The district's tourism revenue during this period reached 304.2 million yuan ($42.25 million), placing it third in the city. This means Huaxi achieved growth in both tourist numbers and tourism income.

Among the attractions, Qingyan Ancient Town received 143,992 visitors, Huaxi Wetland Park hosted 107,946 visitors, and Tianhetan Scenic Area attracted 49,495 visitors.

Scenic spots and attractions in Huaxi launched a series of activities featuring ancient charm, trendy performances, and Mid-Autumn folk customs, creating a festive atmosphere that drew numerous tourists.

For example, Huaxi Park's special Mid-Autumn activities included a water lantern festival, poetry events, Mid-Autumn riddles, and a moon-themed poetry gathering. These activities, presented in unique artistic forms, offered visitors a rich and immersive cultural experience.
