The 2024 Guizhou Provincial Rock Climbing Championship concluded on July 28. The Huaxi District Amateur Sports School's Jingxue Climbing Team from Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, made an impressive showing, with nine young athletes winning five gold, three silver, and five bronze medals.
The championship attracted 131 participants from eight regional teams across Guizhou. During the five-day event, the Huaxi's Jingxue Climbing Team excelled in various events, including speed, difficulty, bouldering, all-around, random speed, and speed relay in the men's and women's A, B, and C categories.
During the competition, Huaxi's athletes showcased impressive technique, speed, and endurance. Moreover, their spirit of teamwork and determination earned unanimous praise from both the audience and their competitors.
