Music market ignites nightlife in Huaxi

The Banqiao Trendy Music Market and the 2024 Huaxi "Xiaoxinzhiye" Kick-off Ceremony were held on July 5 in the Banqiao Art Village Scenic Area in Huaxi district, Guiyang. Hundreds of locals and visitors gathered to enjoy a musical feast.

The event began with a vibrant live performance by the Limu Shengsheng Band held in memory of Wong Ka Kui – lead singer of the famous band Beyond. They performed many classic hits from Beyond, delivering a surge of musical energy that led to a massive sing-along.

The Banqiao Trendy Music Market is a creative project launched by the Banqiao Art Village. It will run from July 5 to Oct 31, with music performances every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening, offering an immersive musical feast.

According to the event's organizers, the music market aims to merge a variety of fun and creative elements to create an atmospheric live music hotspot.

Additionally, the market has set up over 30 stalls offering barbecue, dining, and cultural and creative products. These stalls operate without rental fees but must share a portion of their revenue, encouraging entrepreneurship and employment while enhancing the visitor experience.
