1st phase of Huaxi's food industrial park completed

Construction on the first phase of the special food industrial park in Huaxi district, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently completed. Integrating the research, production and sale of special food products, the industrial park is expected to invigorate the high-quality development of the district's food industry.

At the construction site, modern workshops can be seen, with all the interior roads and supporting facilities having already been completed and put into use. The project was initiated by the district in August 2022 and is located in Longjing village, Qingyan town, with a total planned area of 58.67 hectares. It was then divided into three phases.

The first phase of the project involves 42,000 square meters of standard workshops, with investments totaling 230 million yuan ($32.43 million), and the construction of a multi-story factory, a research building, and a finished product warehouse. The first phase was completed on April 20 this year and has already been delivered to enterprises.

All business and investment promotion work for the first phase of the project has been completed. The five investment projects use 34,000 sq m of workshops, and about 8,000 sq m of area will be reserved for offices and dormitories of employees.

These projects are expected to attract nearly 200 million yuan in investment, generate 280 million yuan in output, and create jobs for over 460 locals.
