During the three-day Qingming Festival holiday, which fell on April 4-6, Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, received 727,800 visits, seeing its tourism revenue reach 424 million yuan ($58.64 million).

Over the same period, the district's scenic areas, such as Qingyan Ancient Town, Shizi Street and Shilihetan Wetland Park, were bustling with numerous visitors that were eager to appreciate Huaxi's springtime views.

In Qingyan Ancient Town, a blind date event titled "Guizhou Wangpo" attracted a number of single participants. At the Confucius Academy, an array of activities integrating flower viewing and traditional culture, such as drinking spring tea, tasting spring food and decorating kites, offered both residents and visitors a cultural feast.

What's more, the district made efforts to strictly implement preferential policies for scenic areas, ensuring a positive tourist experience.
