Huaxi hosts flower-viewing tours

With the arrival of spring and the rising of temperatures, the Shili Hetan Tourist Resort in Huaxi district, Guiyang, recently ushered in this year's flower-viewing season.

The breathtaking cole flowers fields in the tourist resort are now attracting crowds of tourists. However, the resort doesn't just feature cole flowers. The resort grows over 10 types of flowers, including magnolia, tulips and cherry blossoms, all of which have also begun to bloom.

The rising popularity of spring flower-viewing tours has also brought development momentum to the resort's businesses. One of the business owners said that more tourists are now coming to his shop for barbecue or tea, which greatly boosts his business income.

Wang Tianli, a director of the Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park Management Office in Guiyang, introduced that because there are so many flowers in the tourist resort, the management office has increased security and sanitation in the area. These efforts are to maintain order and to ensure that visitors enjoy a very clean and comfortable environment.
