(some of the scenic spots in the ancient town):

1. Ciyun Temple: Ciyun Temple is a cultural relic protection site at the province level. It was built in the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and repaired in the 12th year of the reign of Emperor Daoguang (1832). It consists of two courtyards, covering an area of 4,200 square meters and with a construction area of 898 square meters.

The architecture features exquisite wood and stone carvings. It was renovated in 2001. In 2016, taking advantage of Qingyan Ancient Town becoming a national 5A-level tourist attraction, Ciyun Temple was upgraded and transformed, and the Huaxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum was established.

2. Zhao Gong Shrine: Zhao Gong Shrine was built during the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 1,600 square meters and with a construction area of 920 square meters. It consists of a mountain gate, passage, corridor, two side halls, and a main hall. It underwent maintenance work in 2001 and was designated as a cultural relic protection site in Guiyang in 2003.

3. Wenchang Pavilion: Wenchang Pavilion, built during the reign of Emperor Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), is a symbol of flourishing literature. It is located at the highest and most central position in the ancient town. Chinese people believe that "everything is mediocre, only studying is valuable". Wenchang Pavilion enshrines Wenchang Emperor, a god who is believed to govern the fate and worldly success of scholars.

Seasonal Activities:

The "Damingzhi" series of events features traditional culture and combines various festivals (such as Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival) in its activities, immersing tourists in the ancient town.
