Tianhetan resort in Huaxi district reopens with travel package

Tianhetan tourism resort in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, resumed operation on Oct 31.

The scenic spot, featuring a typical karst landscape and the recluse culture of historical figures, has upgraded cave lighting, an 80-meter-long interactive projection light, firework-like lamps, performance stages and a water show and improved firework shows.

The resort will also launch a travel package to mark its 30th anniversary. Visitors can purchase admission tickets at a 50 percent discount online and offline.

The discount, lasting from Nov 1 to Dec 31, is intended to revive local tourism and rural tourism around the resort, which has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.
