Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently launched four recommended travel routes themed around the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The four routes involve the route of the Long March by the Central Red Army, the history of and literature during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45), and studies of Chinese ancient civilization.
Huaxi boasts many relics of revolutionary sites related to the CPC, including 33 cultural resources related to the Long March.
"Huaxi has built Long March-themed display and experience routes, and has planned Red cultural tourism routes," said Cao Xin, director of the Huaxi Culture and Tourism Development Center.
