Huaxi district's 25 projects stood out from 213 entries in the preliminary round of the district's division of the 5th China Chuangyi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition, which was recently held.
The 213 entries were collected from 34 universities and colleges in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, including Guizhou University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, and Guizhou Minzu University.
The entries were involved in nine industries, including modern services, agriculture, cultural creativity, medicine and healthcare, internet and artificial intelligence.
The national competition, launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, aims to promote the collection and sharing of various resources, improve the efficiency of resource allocation, and boost entrepreneurship and innovation.
This year's competition started in April and is divided into five sections: manufacturing, services, youth creativity, labor service brands and rural vitalization.
The 25 projects will enter the district finals on May 25, and 20 will qualify for the national competition. The top projects will be rewarded 10,000 yuan ($1,495).
