Invitation from beautiful Huaxi

A magnificent and splendid civilization has left Huaxi district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – with a profound heritage, and naturally nourished its endless charms and spirit, giving an impression of a beautiful Huaxi that is rooted in everyone's minds. 

Under the strategic background of the times, Huaxi will have a strong population attraction and become an urban area integrating the comprehensive functions of a cultural hub, ecological tourism, and eco-friendly residence.

There are captivating natural landscapes in the district, including the Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park, the Tianhetan scenic area and Qingyan Ancient Town, which live up to its title of National Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Zone.

There is a splendid and rich humanistic heritage and there are century-old universities in Huaxi.


Xu Xiake, a famous traveler and geographer during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), visited Huaxi and recorded the experience in his travel book.


Modern artists Xu Beihong and Liao Jingwen got engaged on the banks of the Huaxi River, while famous writers Ba Jin and Xiao Shan stayed in Huaxi for their honeymoon.


When Marshal Chen Yi (1901-72) was in Huaxi, he wrote a poem to praise the breathtaking scenery of the district.

Huaxi has already carried the childhood memories of untold generations. Every tourist chooses Huaxi as one of their must-see destinations and everyone who has been to Shilihehetan scenic area retains fond memories.

With history created by and passed down the generations, Huaxi is developing rapidly, and all these influences are inseparable for everyone who chooses to work and live there.
