The Huaxi district government in Guiyang - capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province - and Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine signed a cooperation agreement on Dec 24.
According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in expanding the influence of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional medicine of the Miao ethnic group, promoting the industrialization of traditional Chinese medicine products, and creating local food and medicine brands.
Additionally, the two sides will strive to introduce and train high-level talent, develop scientific research and innovation service platforms, and construct pharmaceutical preparation centers in medical institutions.
To retain talent from local colleges and universities, Huaxi district will give full play to the resource advantages of local colleges and universities and further emphasize the key role of traditional Chinese medicine.
Moving forward, the Huaxi government will continue to promote school-enterprise cooperation to make better use of resources and achieve common development.
