The park is a red research destination integrating themed displays, culture and tourism, red education, and folk culture.

Situated in Gaopo and Qiantao townships and Qingyan town, the park consists of many attractions related to the Communist Party of China, such as Gaopo Red Army sacrifice site, Gaopo Red Army residence, Qingyan red army combat command post, and the Huaxi Red Army Long March trail.

The high demand for red tourism has encouraged the development of higher requirements for the protection and development of red resources. Huaxi insists on protecting its revolutionary sites, and focuses on developing and utilizing red culture in accordance with the rural revitalization strategy. It also promotes the development of red tourism projects.

"We are communicating with Jiaoshang village in Gaopo township, which is close to the scenic spot, and want to plan and build a group of red-themed rural markets, specialty restaurants, and homestay projects, as well as create a comprehensive tourism experience route integrating food, accommodation and travel," said Shi Jiayun, a representative of the park.
