Huaxi Park Chinese Rose Show to open in July

The 2021 Huaxi Park Chinese Rose Show is under preparation, which will be held on July 1-20 at Huaxi Park in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

This year's flower show, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, will be open for free and center on Chinese roses to promote the development of the Huaxi cultural tourism innovation zone.

The flower show will display 122 types of ornamental Chinese roses and seven types of modeling Chinese roses.

It is divided into three viewing areas: a welcome area, a Chinese rose cultural area, and a flower trading area.

The welcome area is mainly for viewing boutique roses and has a welcome flower gallery and an exhibition for bonsai and unique stones. The Chinese rose cultural area combines flowers with the culture of Huaxi Park.

The flower trading area has 200 types of flowers and bonsai for sale.

During the flower show, a series of activities will be held, including a flower market and an intangible cultural heritage competition.
