The water conservation office of Huaxi district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a water conservation promotion activity at Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College on May 12.

They also put up water conservation posters in public places, including restaurants and student dormitories, used the school's screen to broadcast water conservation videos and recruited student volunteers to participate in the publicity activity.
A total of 100 brochures, 100 posters and more than 1,000 other promotional materials were distributed.
The activity aimed to strengthen the public's awareness of water conservation, guide the public to consciously develop positive water-saving habits and create a city committed to water conservation.
