Huaxi official takes team on investment promotions drive

Li Rui, secretary of the CPC Huaxi district committee led an investment promotions team on May 8 to Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, in a bid to attract projects and funds to drive the development of the local economy.

Li visited the Chongqing Sunac Resort project and praised its planning concepts and construction.

He said that the design concept of the resort was in harmony with the local environment, providing Huaxi with a valuable model of how to integrate culture and tourism and how to promote the development of all-for-one tourism.

The team also inspected the night economy of Chongqing. Li emphasized that the prosperity of the night economy was an important indicator of the openness and vitality of a city's economy -- and that it was important to measure the cultural character and the quality of life of its residents.

Li added that it was important and necessary to study Chongqing's night economy model. This would help enable Huaxi to expand its own night economy, increase the promotion of its night tour brands and improve public transport routes to boost the district's night economy.
