Huaxi National City Wetland Park is a national AAAA tourist attraction as well as a national wetland park. Situated in the north of the central urban area of Huaxi District, only 12 kilometers from downtown Guiyang, the wetland is 1,140 meters in average altitude and 14.9D in annual average temperature. It possesses a pleasantly mild and humid environment and has a reputation as "a big oxygen bar" and "a big natural air conditioner". The national rare wetland park links three scenic spots along the Huaxi River, namely, the Shili (ten-mile) Beach Wetland Park, Huaxi Park, and the Luoping-Pingqiao sightseeing agriculture belt area.
