Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will build a large-scale network live broadcast platform with Guizhou Radio and Television Station to help the sale of local agricultural products, according to the Huaxi district bureau of agriculture and rural affairs.
This summer, Maling village's grapes and Maiping town's plums will become the main stars of the live broadcast platform, in a move that officials said should boost the incomes of farmers.
The Huaxi district bureau of agriculture and rural affairs is currently organizing preliminary investigations and putting together plans in a bid to create a Huaxi agricultural products brand.
