Qingyan Ancient Town in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, reopened to the public on March 30, according to local officials.

In order to maintain order and ensure the safety of tourism, the scenic area will implement flow controls, officials said.

When the number of tourists reaches 80 percent -- or 12,000 visitors -- of the maximum capacity of 15,000 people, management will implement measures such as staggering the ticket sales and check-ins.

When the number of visitors reaches 90 percent of capacity, or 13,500 visitors, management will even evacuate tourists.

The number of the people in a tour team is not allowed to exceed 30. The team should adopt interval-based admissions to the scenic spots, to avoid mass entry.

The peak tourist volume daily is expected to go from 11 am to 4 pm. It is recommended to arrange the itinerary and avoid the peak level.
