Football superstars visit Huaxi

On July 14, football superstars who had attended the Football Achievers Awards ceremony in Guiyang came to Tianhe Pond scenic spot for the promotion of Huaxi district. 

The football giants included Oliver Rolf Kahn, Edward Paul Sheringham, Steven Mc Manaman, Carles Puyol, Ruud Gullit and Lothar Matthäus.

Mc Manaman, from England, expressed gratitude to Guiyang and Huaxi district, and said he hopes the award will become an important football event in China in the future.

Guan Lu, deputy head of the Huaxi district government, said the Football Achievers Awards provides a platform for local people to learn more about football, communicate with the world, and increase friendship with people from other countries.

As part of the activity, the football superstars left their footprints in Huaxi, and interacted with fans and tourists with the European group voXXclub at the scenic spot.
