​Huaxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The only county-level TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) hospital in Huaxi district of Guiyang City, the Huaxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine covers an area of 3,098 sq. m., 56 sickbeds, and 80 medical personnel, including 1 with a senior professional title, 11 with intermediate professional titles, and 48 with junior professional titles. 

Currently, 300 surgical operations are carried out annually, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and gynecology surgery, which are carried out with a variety of equipment, including a Japanese Shimadzu B ultrasound, a Japanese Fukuda 3-channel electrocardiograph, a French ABX Automatic Blood Cell Analyzer, a semiautomatic biochemical analyzer, an electrolyte analyzer, a multifunctional anesthesia machine, a high frequency electrotome, a 400 mA X-ray machine, a multifunctional operating table, a multi-parameter ECG monitor, a fetal heart monitor, a three-dimensional cervical and lumbar traction bed, a computerized far infrared massage treatment table, and an information management system. 

With an annual business income of over 3 million yuan, it's a designated hospital for China' Health Poverty Alleviation Project, for NAH appropriate technology promotion from the Ministry of Health, for Guiyang's medical insurance, for Guiyang's preventive health check-ups, and for Huaxi District's new rural cooperative medical service.
